Worked remotely through its social media marketing team, I provided creative design support for Saint Thomas Hospital in Malta, working alongside Arun, who was responsible for the hospital’s social media marketing activities.
The engagement involved developing a range of visual content for the hospital’s digital marketing and social media communication. My role focused on translating campaign ideas and promotional requirements into clear, professional and engaging creative assets that aligned with the hospital’s visual communication needs.
I designed a variety of social media creatives, promotional flyers, posters, banners and campaign graphics, adapting each concept for different formats and platforms. In addition to static designs, I also created short video advertisements and motion-based content for use on social media, helping add more variety and movement to the hospital’s digital communications.
Some of the campaigns I supported included Sunday Clinic, Breast Cancer Awareness Month and weight-loss campaigns, along with various healthcare service promotions. Each project required balancing informative messaging with engaging visual design, ensuring important healthcare information could be communicated clearly and effectively.
Working on healthcare communications also required particular attention to clarity, professionalism, hierarchy and consistency. Each piece needed to communicate essential information effectively while remaining visually approachable and consistent with the hospital’s brand.
My contribution included:
Social media campaign creatives
Promotional flyers and posters
Digital banners
Healthcare service promotions
Campaign artwork for initiatives such as the Sunday Clinic
Short-form video advertisements
Social media visual content
Adapting creative concepts across different digital formats
This project allowed me to combine my experience in graphic design, digital content creation and marketing communication to support an active healthcare brand and its social media presence.
