Deliverables
Political campaigns require visual communication that can work across very different environments—from a social media post viewed for a few seconds to a large outdoor poster seen from a distance. I worked on two Nigerian political campaigns, creating visual systems and campaign materials for Natasha Akpoti Uduaghan and Mohammed Umaru Bago.
For each campaign, I developed a distinct visual direction around the candidate's existing campaign identity and communication needs. I worked with candidate photography, campaign messaging, typography, colour and graphic elements to create compositions that were recognisable and easy to understand.
For Natasha Akpoti Uduaghan, I created campaign graphics and promotional artwork designed to give the campaign a consistent visual presence across its communication materials. The work included candidate-focused compositions, campaign posters and digital graphics.
For Mohammed Umaru Bago, I developed another set of campaign visuals with a different visual character, adapting the design approach to the candidate and campaign context. I created campaign posters and supporting graphics for use across digital and physical communication.
A major part of the work was maintaining visual consistency across different formats. The same campaign language needed to translate effectively from social media graphics to printed materials and larger promotional applications.
The projects allowed me to work at the intersection of branding, political communication and high-volume graphic design, where clarity, recognition and consistency are just as important as visual impact.
