Wakajugbe Rider App
Summary

A mobile ride-hailing experience designed to make booking, tracking and managing rides simple and intuitive.

Project Overview

I designed the UI/UX for the Wakajugbe Rider App in Figma, creating the passenger experience for booking rides, selecting destinations, tracking trips and managing ride information. The design was developed around a clear, map-led interface that keeps the most important actions and information easy to access.

Case Study

Wakajugbe is a mobility product designed to connect passengers with drivers for convenient everyday transportation. I worked on the Rider App, designing the UI/UX in Figma and focusing on the experience from requesting a ride through to completing the trip.

The main challenge was keeping the booking experience simple while still providing passengers with the information they need throughout their journey. Location, destination, ride options, driver information and trip status all need to be easy to understand without making the interface feel complicated.

I structured the experience around a map-first interface, making location and movement central to the product. I mapped out the key user flows and designed the screens for selecting a pickup location, entering a destination, requesting a ride, matching with a driver and tracking the trip.

I also designed the different states of the journey so that the interface changes naturally as the ride progresses—from requesting a driver, to waiting for pickup, to being on the trip and eventually completing the ride.

The final UI uses a clean, modern visual system with clear hierarchy and prominent actions, allowing passengers to move through the core experience with minimal friction.
